Kapalbhati... The basic mistake people make while practising this Hatha Yoga Cleansing technique.
Kapalbhati. The Hatha Yoga Cleansing technique. Correct way of doing it
YouTube Video UCgC9krIGq6ZRmMxMd6-Hp4A_bo0BPwjTSWc
Please don’t abuse Kapalbhati for weight loss or getting flat stomach. Kapalbhati ‘breathing exercises’ ramps up the breathing process making us conscious that we need to keep the diaphragm - The Breathing muscle, active… 24X7.

Weight gain and the resultant weight loss is a lifestyle issue and a 24*7 correct breathing is a way of controlling it.

A person with normal breathing pattern takes about 2 hours to digest a regular meal whereas a compromised breather takes more than double the time to process the same food.

“Breathing incorrectly reduces CO2 (a muscle dilator) in the arterial blood, resulting in loss of tone of the intestines, which in turn produces extreme intestinal congestion leading to life threatening ailments including obesity.

We Breathe out FAT…

According to a research done by the University of New South Wales, for every kilo of fat processed by the body, around 80% is exhaled out from the lungs, in the form of Carbon dioxide.

Simply Breathe Correctly, do not use Kapalbhati as an exercise plan for weight loss or getting a flat stomach.

Emotional Abuse… What is it?

Emotional abuse is a sensitive topic and needs a whole lot of further research and discussion, especially countries like India.

This article is basic and indicative. Please consult a concerned professional, if you need help.

About the Video:
0:00 - 2:10 :: What is Emotional Abuse?
2:11 - 2:54 :: Who is an Emotional Abuser?
2:55 - 3:38 :: How does this Emotional Abuse Start?
3:39 - 4:24 :: Why do people stay in an Abusive Relationship?
4:25 - 5:11 :: How does one come out of Abusive Relationship?
5:12 - 5:38 :: Be Mindful. Seek Help.

 I have seen a lot of people looking surprised and saying BUT there was no physical abuse in this.

Society, at times, makes us believe that abuse is only physical, whereas the truth is far from it…

A data suggests that around 50% of adults and 11% of youngsters do go through an emotionally abusive relationship, at least once in their lifetime. I sense the percentage is only increasing…

Emotional abuse is a pattern of behaviour in which the abuser insults, humiliates and generally instills fear in an individual in order to control them.

Unfortunately, the one who is going through the abuse, either fails to see the patterns OR they realise it when they see their inherent personally shift. Unfortunately, a big percentage become partner pleaser…

Emotional Abuser is Gender Neutral… Just that women have a better sense of seeking help. Men, as I have seen, tend to bottle it up… focussing more of the tangibles like work, money etc.

Please note… An isolated occurrence should not be termed as an emotional abuse. Maybe, it is just a fight or release of pent up emotions.

Who is an emotional abuser?

By the time we realise who an abuser is, the damage has already started. All I can say is that, there is not a strong defined description of an abuser. Anyone can be an abuser.

A few patterns that may show are… Sense of being possessive, hypersensitive, have a strong need for control, which motivates them to wield power in the relationship.

I have also seen they tend to be an antisocial or, a few of them are awkward in a group dynamic. Their thoughts are rooted in a set pattern, they do not want to explore and expand their horizon.

Please consult professional, your peer group in case you find yourself in an abusive relationship.

Team Moksha Mantra

Nidhi, Aashish and the Team Moksha Mantra are not spiritual gurus. We are not healers. We are not LIFE Coaches and we are definitely not wellness transformers.

After trying to define ourselves with various labels, we realised we just try to share our understanding of Life, Wellness and Self Healing, how we feel, it is intended to be…

Please bear with us if we contradict ourselves. We are ever evolving and so is our understanding of things.

We advise you not to use this information to diagnose, treat, prevent or cure any disease or condition without understanding the processes and also without consulting a related guide.

Moksha Mantra is our expression of what we feel about LIFE issues and we do not want to dilute the same. Keeping the same in mind, we do not accept any guest posts of any types.

Besides the web initiative, Moksha Mantra conducts pan India workshops, sessions, and lectures on Life, Wellness & Self Healing. Some of the topics we like to cover are mind detoxification, yoga and pranayama/ proper breathing, executive burnout, spiritual wellness and traditional Indian cooking. Moreover, due to the changing online viewing habits, we have also initiated a video-based channel.

At mokshamantra.com our focus is to decipher the mysteries of Life, Wellness and Self Healing processes, based on our present day understanding. The website/the video platform is a place where the mystical side of wisdom meets OUR beliefs, understanding and perception of day-to-day life, wellness and self healing.
