The word ‘Ayurveda’ is a Sanskrit word made after joining two words “Ayur” and “Veda” which together translates to “The Science of Life”. This was the method of healing prevalent in India right from the times of ancient civilization dating back 5000 years. Perhaps one of the earliest centers of Ayurvedic treatments to be established in Rishikesh inn 1961, Baba Massage Center is being run by 2nd and 3rd generation members of the highly reputed master Baba Balwant Singh. Baba Balwant Singh gained immersive knowledge of Ayurveda from Kerala and settled in Rishikesh. He lived for 120 years till his death in 1992.
